Watch how this perfectly camouflaged and amazingly slender brown vine snake can be easily mistaken for a vine. The scientific name of this reptile is Oxybelis aeneus, but it is commonly know as brown vine snake. This snake can reach up to 1.9 metres (6.2 ft) in length, and its color may vary from gray to brown with a yellow underside. It mainly feeds on lizards, but also eats frogs and birds.

The footage for this short wildlife moments video has been filmed during a trip in the highly biodiverse rainforest of the Osa Peninsula in Drake Bay, Costa Rica.
